Hello! So sorry for a quiet week on the blog: I took some time off from the coffee shop to enjoy an extended Thanksgiving, and not entirely surprisingly my immune system decided it was a good time to take a break as well. Both of us are back to work now, and I am looking forward to a very busy, very productive December. So...what's the deal with the two lovely ladies pictured above? Well, they will be up for grabs at a one-night silent auction exhibition in Raleigh on Friday, Dec. 2 (along with many other beautiful works of art)...so my Raleigh folks, get there if you can! My friend Tracy Spencer curated this group show as "a fundraiser/silent auction to help Equality NC fight the anti-LGBT amendment that's up for a vote in the spring." I am donating half of my profits to this cause...so be at 133 South Wilmington Street from 6-10 pm to support art and true love!
